Will Your Blog Make Money?

It would be a waste of your valuable time to build a blog and then find you can’t make any money from it.

As I’ve explained before it can be easy to rank high in the search engines and get free organic traffic with the right keyword phrase choice.

For example building a blog around the keyword phrase “model railroading” would be very hard to rank for but “model railroading for beginners” would be fairly easily.

But, if all that traffic arrives at your site and you have nothing to sell them… You are not going to have a profitable blog.

Okay, you could put Google ads on the site which could pay you a few cents a click. Those would add up over time and you could be earning a few hundred dollars per month.

But, we’re building a full time income aren’t we?

So, we need products that pay $20.00 or more per sale, or even better, continuity products that pay $20.00 or more every month for that one sale.

An example is the model trains for beginners product. This is a membership site that pays a 70% commission. One sale pays out about $21.00 for each month that the member remains a member.

So, if the member stayed for 3 months (industry average) your payout would be $21.00 per month x 3months = $63.00.

This makes it much easier to create a full time income on the internet.
